The Port Imperial NJ Riverfront
The Port Imperial Riverfront Masterplan illustrates the ensemble of land uses and product offerings at the waterfront in West New York and Gutttenberg on New Jersey’s Gold Coast.
The Gold Coast is described as that area on the New Jersey waterfront between the George Washington Bridge to the North and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to the South – or the land area in New Jersey on the water directly across from New York City.
All of the Port Imperial Master planned communities enjoy a prime waterfront location on the Hudson River waterfront across from Midtown Manhattan in close proximity to the Ferry Terminals, the Light Rail, the Lincoln Tunnel and Newark International Airport.
The Gold Coast Pipeline
There are currently approximately 11,000 homes in the rental and condo pipeline for the New Jersey Gold Coast. Of the 8,864 homes targeted to be started in 2012/2013, 90% are rental apartments and 10% are for sale condominiums. Many of these homes will be located on Port Imperial Drive which runs through Guttenberg, West New York and Weehawken.
